The Ghana Health Ministry after it's preparedness to battle out the pandemic outbreak has confirmed it's first case of Coronavirus in the country. 

In a statement signed by the minister of health Hon.Kwaku Agyemang Manu, he disclosed that two individuals who returned into the country from Norway and Turkey tested positive after conducting various tests on them.

Hon.kwaku Agyemang Manu also encourages all Ghanaians to take care of their health as well as that of our families by adhering to the following precautionary measures:

  1. Regular and thorough washing of hands with soap under running water and use of alcohol based hand sanitizers.
  2. Avoid Shaking of Hands
  3. Keep a distance or two meters from a person running with fever, cough,sneezing, and difficulty in breathing.
  4. It is advisable to be physically active, drink plenty of water, eat healthy,avoid stress and have enough sleep.
