| Davido and Fiance Chioma |
Popular American - Nigerian singer,song writer and record producer, Davido, in a tweet has confirmed that his fiancee Chioma has tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19.
Davido arrived in Lagos from America in good health with his team whiles chioma also returned from UK with their baby.
Though they are perfectly fine, they decided to go for a test due to their recent travel history.
"Unfortunately, my fiancé's results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby," Davido said.
The "Assurance" Crooner furthermore stated that Chioma has been quarantined,and he is going under full self isolation for 14 days.
"We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever. She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self isolation for the minimum 14 days," he added.
"I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your endless love and prayers in advance and to urge everyone to please stay at home as we control the spread of this virus! Together we can beat this!"
Since Coronavirus COVID-19 was declared pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO), no vaccine has been approved as effective against the virus.
We pray Chioma recovers from this deadly disease which has claimed the lives of many.
