A 46 Year Old Nigerian Is On the run After Health officials informed him of his status in the Upper west Region.
According to the Upper west regional coordinator of the Ghana Health Service speaking with joynews, the man who was to be transported by health officials to the regional isolation center disappeared from his resident in waapani,a suburb of Wa after receiving information that he had tested positive for the novel covid-19.

“Five out of the new cases were people who came from abroad, including one Nigerian and one person from the Western region.”
"But unfortunately for us, one of our confirmed cases cannot be traced. Having given him feedback on his test results, it has been very difficult to reach him," Dr Afreh said.
The 46 year old Nigerian is one out of 5 people who came into the country from abroad.

Whiles this sudden news is set to cause panic and fear among Ghanaians and foreigners in the country, the police reassures Ghanaians that the victim will be apprehended.
Police have since dispatched a search party to hunt for the Nigerian.
According to Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Aboagye Nyarko, the team is hopeful he will be found soon.
