Ghana's heavyweight rapper Michael owusu Addo, known by his stage name Sarkodie, presented the best international flow award at the just ended BET Hip-Hop Awards 2020. 

As the first Artist to ever win the category for Best International Flow Award in 2019, Sarkodie was given the privilege of presenting this year's award to British born rapper with Ghanaian roots Stormzy, who emerged as the winner for that category.

Stormzy was excited and full of appreciation and used the platform to throw more light on other rappers.

Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin has finally apologized to MTN Ghana Over her fake MoMo fraud allegations.

The Actress who has been trending on Twitter for some days now for calling MTN a thief, was given 24 hours ultimatum by the telecom giants, MTN to apologize or face lawsuit.

“MTN KEEP SAYING NOBODY CAN WITHDRAW YOUR MOMO ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR CONCERN BUT I JUST FOUND OUT MY OVER Gh10000 from my business momo account has been taken.

MTN IS NOT SAFE ANYMORE!”—Stated earlier by Salma Mumin.

However, Salma Mumin has retracted her statement and apologized to MTN Ghana for any inconvenience caused.

In her apology, she disclosed that her earlier post against MTN was as a result of a misapprehension.

The actress also expressed her profound gratitude to MTN for their assistance in helping her resolve the difficulties she was facing in her transaction.

Ghanaian Sculptor Creates portraits of Africans Who Were Forced Into Slavery.

Kwame Akoto Bamfo, a Ghanaian Sculptor has received international recognition with his works after being interviewed by Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson on BBC.com.

The Ghanaian Sculptor has created 2,500 portraits of Africans who were imprisoned, kidnapped or forced into slavery in Ada Foah, Ghana and is currently working on adding 8500 more portraits.

The "Ancestor project" as the Sculptor calls his work, tells a story about each sculpture.

His reason for creating these portraits are jaw dropping.

 

“Traditionally in African Art or African region, the head represents everything;

Your soul your being, it has your eyes and all the expressions and it is considered the seat of your soul. 

So in the faces you can see their identity. You can see that these people were actually human beings and you can relate to them. And it's that I am trying to capture.” —Kwame revealed to Samuel L Jackson.

How To Temporarily Disable Your Instagram Account.

In today's tutorial, we will be looking at how to temporarily disable Instagram account.

Before we proceed with the tutorial, let's look at why any Instagram user like you and I would want to temporarily disable/deactivate our account.

Why would you disable your Instagram account?

Social media has evolved from the little we knew then to what it is now.

Today, instead of connecting people globally, it also poses risks for its users.

 

According to Helpguide.org, multiple studies have found a strong link between heavy social media and an increased risk for depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, and even suicidal thoughts.

With the above been mentioned, Instagram users may temporarily disable their account when they realize they are spending too much time on the platform and want to focus.

Secondly, brands or influencers etc, may disable their account when are not getting good engagements as study according to ionos.com, shows that likes on social media may be addictive to users.

Several Instagram users also temporary disable their account, when they are not sure they want to permanently delete it.

Lastly, Instagram users may deactivate their account because they don't want to use it for some time.

What happens when I disable my Instagram account temporary?

Temporary disabling your Instagram account doesn't actually delete your Instagram account, but instead, completely hides your account and all contents.

When you disable your account temporary, the account will no longer be visible on Instagram but all contents of the account will be safe. 

Your followers will not be able to find you on Instagram, neither can anyone find your account by searching your username.

People you follow may see a one follower reduction count since your account has been disabled until you activate it.

Until you activate your account, it's off Instagram. 

The best part of temporary disabling your Instagram account is that, it keeps your username safe. No one will be able to create an account with your username.

Note: This is totally different from making your account private as temporary deactivated or disabled accounts, are not accessible or available in search results by Instagram users or visitors.

How To Temporarily Disable Instagram Account.

1. Log into instagram.com from a computer. You can't temporarily disable your account from within the Instagram app.

2. Click your profile picture in the top right and click Profile, then click Edit Profile.

3. Scroll down, then click Temporarily disable my account in the bottom right.

4. Select an option from the drop-down menu next to Why are you disabling your account? and re-enter your password. The option to disable your account will only appear after you've selected a reason from the menu and entered your password.

5. Click Temporarily Disable Account.

If you temporarily disable your account, your profile, photos, comments and likes will be hidden until you reactivate it by logging back in. 

Voilà, you have successfully disabled your Instagram account temporary.

Go to Instagram Delete Page with your smartphone browser or computer.

Note: You cannot delete your account within the Instagram app.

You need to select a reason before the option to delete your account permanently becomes visible.

 

• Click on Permanently delete my account.

You can also delete a different account by following the steps below:

Click or tap the username in the top-right of the Delete Your Account page.

Click or tap next to the Edit Profile and select Log Out.

Log back in as the account you want to delete and follow the steps above.

Hurray, now that Instagram has accepted your request, your account will be processed for deletion in few days.

For your fishes to evolve into Sun Fish, you have to frequently feed them.

Note: Any fish that sizes up or reaches level 10 without turning into Sunfish must be sold, to make room for new fishes with high probability of transforming into Sunfish.

Like I said earlier on, you have to feed your fishes frequently.

To know the accurate time to feed your fishes, press on the largest fish in your aquarium to check how many minutes left until feeding.

The reason I suggest you press on the largest fish in your aquarium is that, they spend a lot of time than the others to become feedable.

When you feed the largest fish when it becomes feedable, you also feed the smaller fishes which take lesser time to become feedable too.

One approach I take that has proven effective, is to feed your fishes in a two hours interval.

Treat your in game fishes like real fishes in your pond.

The more constantly you check up on them, the better they become.

The Award-winning artist, in her message to the president of the Republic of Ghana, emphasized that Ghanaian celebrities are losing jobs to Nigerian counterparts after FDA banned them from promoting Alcoholic beverages.

It is recalled that The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), banned celebrities or popular persons in Ghana from publicly endorsing alcohol brands, to ensure young people or teenagers who are fans of these celebrities, do not engage in alcoholism.

This ban, however attracted a lot of responses from Ghanaian celebrities, who believed otherwise.
