Hi welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy your stay reading fresh contents daily.
How Possible?
Ok so before I talk about Wi-Fi Calling I would like to say a little bit about where I am from.
It’s a great place to be if you want to experience Africa and a home of all tourist attractions.
Anyway despite the fact that we have 5 competitive telecommunications services available, making video call on a 4G network is like using a 2G enabled handset.
Making calls in some remote areas is really stressful as people sometimes climbs trees and mountains in other to get a good Network signal.
It’s wierd but very funny especially imagining the looks on these people’s faces when they discover they could actually make calls on WiFi instead.
What is Wi-Fi Calling?
Wi-fi calling enables you to make phone calls on wireless networks instead of phone network.
Anyway it’s functionability solely depends on your Data and it needs a strong signal to be effective.
To cut things straight let’s move on to how to setup Wi-fi Calling and stop our people from climbing more trees and mountains. The world needs absolute peace right now lol.
How To Setup Wi-Fi Calling
1. Open your Phone’s Settings, then tap Wi-Fi or Wireless Networks.
2. Tap the network you would like to join and connect. If secured enter password.
3. After connecting to your wireless network tap Phone on the phone Home screen.
4. Open the Menu or More icon to open settings
5. Toggle WiFi Calling On
Note: Settings vary depending on phone type and system you are running.
If your handset doesn’t support Wi-Fi Calling, try other third party apps such as Skype,Viber,Whatsapp etc.
