Ghanaian Award winning Gospel musician Diana Hamilton, in an interview with TV3’s New Day, has cautioned fellow Christian’s to adhere to the preventive measures outlined by health officials, to help curb the spread of the pandemic outbreak in Ghana.
The Mo Ne Yor Singer, emphasized that Prayer alone is not the solution to fight the novel coronavirus covid-19.
She advocated that while people should pray for God to intervene in the fight against the outbreak, they should also do their part.
“Prayers can do everything if we believe that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly.
prayer can do it but whiles we are praying to God, it’s like saying that you have a headache but you will not take paracetamol but you will only pray”- she said.
“Much as we pray, it’s also very important that we do the needful i.e. social distancing, self-isolation, being quarantined, washing of your hands, avoiding crowds…,” the award-winning musician advocated.
Diana Hamilton furthermore cautioned Ghanaians to stay at Home as this virus notably doesn’t discriminate.
“this thing is real…it is very important that we see the severity of this and stay off the streets and be at home. It is scary…”
She said this via Skype in an interview with MzGee.
