Mawuh, has carried out various Covid-19 prevention and empowerment Campaigns throughout Nigeria and Cameroon.
This is their first in Ghana.
According to the Organization, they only realized lately that Ghana had a good number of women here, and so they felt like reaching out to them with a hand, to help our dear women develop skills that will enable them cope with the hardship imposed on all, by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Nii Odoom Anokwafo Annoh, Coordinator of Mawuh Global Solutions in Ghana emphasized that, the soap made and bottled can be used by the women to start a soap making business, by selling some to raise capital and some for use at home to prevent Covid-19 through proper hygiene application.
“Let us always remember that COVID-19 is still very present and taking away lives.
So this will help tremendously in protecting our refugee women against this deadly virus.” — he stated.
He said Mawuh Global Solutions, hope all participants will use this opportunity to ward off hunger from the refugees’ community.
Kecha Emmanuel, President of the Cameroonian Refugees in Ghana, expressed his profound appreciation to Mawuh for their efforts and was quick to add that, Mawuh should continue supporting them.
He also made a compassionate appeal to other Humanitarian organizations to follow Mawuh’s example.
